So I recently got a copy of Joseph Campbell’s “A Skeleton Key To Finnegan’s Wake,” something I’ve wanted for a very long time and just realized is in print thanks to the Campbell Foundation. So happy to see it in the mail.
Started paging through it, a bit here, a bit there...grabbed my copy of the Wake from the bookshelf, starting paging through it, a bit here, a bit there…then went back to the beginning (which is no real beginning) after reading the introduction and first section of the Campbell book.
Am I really going to do it? Am I going to reread this insane book only a few years after reading it the first time? It would appear so.
